Coordinator of International Relations (CIR) Application

Each year, the Hood River - Tsuruta Sister City Organization seeks an individual to live and work in Tsuruta, Japan as the sister city program’s Coordinator of International Relations. This is a salaried position with benefits including housing assistance, requiring a minimum one-year commitment. Essential duties include teaching English to students of all ages, maintaining lines of communication between the two cities, and assisting with exchange activities and cultural events. Applicants must have been a resident of Hood River (at some point in their lives) and either hold a bachelor’s degree or obtain one by June 30 of the year that they will travel to Tsuruta.
